The case for small batches

Hands pouring warm balm into a glass jar

Every jar of Baby Bum is poured by hand, in a batch small enough to check with my own eyes. That's not a marketing choice. It's the only way I know how to make something I would use on my own son.

Freshness you can feel

Small batches mean short shelf lives, less waiting time between the kitchen and your bathroom shelf, and no need for the preservatives large-scale production quietly relies on.

Care over scale

Scaling up is easy. Slowing down is harder. Small batches let me pause, adjust, and refuse anything that doesn't feel right, before it ever reaches your baby's skin.

Slow is not a limitation. Slow is the recipe.
